Abstract

In this paper we propose to analyze the role of organizational culture, its changes and the concept of entrepreneurship during the pandemic era. We understand by organizational culture a set of shared meanings built by the actors within the organization. Schwartz and Davis (1981), affirm that the organizational culture is “a pattern of the beliefs and expectations shared by the members of the organization. These beliefs and expectations produce norms that regulate the behavior of individuals and groups in the organization ”(Schein, 1987). The pandemic declared by the WHO due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) is undoubtedly of a magnitude never before given. It has been seen how the virus was able to be transmitted from one point of the continent to others as distant as you can imagine. Given the speed in which this process was carried out, the confinement strategy was adopted as the only measure to contain the virus. In this context, third sector ventures, civil society organizations, which always aimed to meet the needs of a vulnerable group or community, became essential given their ability to respond more flexibly to urgent issues of the community where they carry out their actions.
